Saturday saw the Mighty Whites play their first game of the year and not only that their first ever cup game! It’s always nice to play a different team and on a cold morning we received a very warm welcome from our hosts Ropsley. The girls put in their best performance of the season so far fuelled by all those Christmas chocolates! They were on the front foot as soon as the first whistle blew and put in a master class of passing football to score some great team goals. Emily H and Emily F continued their fine goal scoring runs with Skyar and Lottie also chipping in, Lottie with a fantastic solo effort. It was a day when any one of the girls could have received player of the match but for her first class pressing display it went to Alice who was unlucky not to grab herself a goal too. Grown ups player went to Skylar for an amazing performance on the right wing, influential in many of the goals.
